Social value now carries real weight in the tender. For central government procurements commenced from 1 October 2025, in-scope organisations must give it at least 10% of the total score (or an equivalent measure). Committing to it in a bid is one thing. Delivering it, evidencing it and getting colleagues to care is the harder part.
